Bladnoch 19 Year Old is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from one of Scotland's historic distilleries, in a 70cl bottle at 46.7% ABV.
It was matured for the full 19 years exclusively in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which give it a character built around dark liquorice, dried fruit, warming spice and mature oak.
On the nose there is dark liquorice and aged oak with delicate floral aromas. The palate brings liquorice, dried apricots, almonds and nutmeg, and the finish is long, with a lingering dry sweetness and oak.
