Bladnoch – Alinta

Bladnoch Alinta is a peated Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from Bladnoch Distillery. The name means "fire" or "flames" in an Australian Indigenous language, a nod to the smoky character of the whisky and to the Australian heritage of Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage. The peated spirit is matured in a mix of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks. The sherry casks bring dried fruit richness, while the bourbon casks add creamy vanilla and soft oak sweetness. It is typically described as sweet smoke, dark fruits, vanilla and spice.
