A Lowland single malt from Bladnoch, created to mark the rebirth of the distillery. Samsara means rebirth, a nod to the distillery's revival. It is bottled at 43.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and Californian red wine casks.
The nose offers vanilla, ripe fruit, gentle spice and citrus. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with vanilla fudge, stewed pear, fresh citrus and sweet floral notes, followed by a rich, lingering finish.
