A Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled from a single barrel at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made to mash bill #2, and the bottle is closed with Blanton's stopper showing a horse and jockey.
Spicy rye and tobacco lead the nose, with caramel, honey, dark fruit and fresh citrus. The palate is full and complex, with honey, caramel and rye spice, dark fruit and tobacco, along with toasted oak and vanilla. The finish is very long, with oak, vanilla and warming spice.
