Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon (70cl, 46.5%)

This is a single barrel bourbon bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the centre-cut, middle sections of Warehouse H, barrels once set aside for ambassadors, dignitaries and Colonel Blanton's family and friends. Blanton's Original set the standard for single barrel bourbons in 1984 and is described as the world's first. The nose is creamy vanilla with caramel and butterscotch, underscored by baking spices such as clove, nutmeg or cinnamon. The palate is sweet, with citrus and oak.
