Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon (70cl, 46.5%)

Blanton's Original Single Barrel is a Kentucky bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Blanton's is described as the world's first single barrel bourbon. Elmer T Lee, Master Distiller at Buffalo Trace, named it in 1984 as a tribute to Col. Albert B. Blanton, who hand-picked barrels for welcoming important guests. It is sweet, with citrus and oak. The nose is creamy vanilla with caramel and butterscotch, underpinned by baking spices such as clove, nutmeg and cinnamon.
