This is Blanton's Single Barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, barrel #331, bottled at 56% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The LMDW Singapore team handpicked the barrel from Blanton's Warehouse H for its 15th anniversary, and it was dumped on 26 August 2021.
Blanton's was the first bourbon released as a single cask bottling, in 1984.
The nose brings fragrant cereal notes, warm spices, candied fruit, citrus and floral tones. The palate shows vanilla with honey, caramel and corn, turning to burnt sugar, cloves and cinnamon. The finish is long, with oak, warm honey and spices.
