Blanton's Single Barrel M&P Wine and Spirits Festival 2017 (70cl)

A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort, bottled in 2017 for the M&P Wine & Spirits Festival in Poland. It is presented in a 70cl bottle. The barrel was aged in Warehouse H, the metal-clad warehouse that carries the Blanton's name, and the bourbon is made from Buffalo Trace's high-rye mash bill. The colour is rich amber with copper tones. The nose is nutmeg, spice, dry vanilla, honey and caramel. The palate is spicy and sweet, with citrus and oak. The finish is medium, with corn and nutmeg returning.
