Blanton's Straight from the Barrel Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 65.3%)

Blanton's Straight from the Barrel is a bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery in the USA, bottled directly from the barrel at 65.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is best served neat or with a splash of water. The nose is of dark chocolate, caramel and butter, with earthy walnut and hazelnut beneath. On the palate come warm vanilla, oak, roasted nuts and rich spice, with a touch of caramel and honey. The finish is deep and long-lasting.
