Blanton's Straight From The Barrel (63.5%)

Blanton's Straight From The Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled directly from the cask, unfiltered and undiluted, at 63.5%. It matures in American oak, and each cask has its own strength and flavour. The bottle has the distillery's rounded shape and amber colour, with a racehorse and jockey on the stopper. Each stopper has an engraved letter, and collecting the set spells Blanton's. The handwritten label carries an individual bottle number, and the release is limited. It is described as powerful and full-bodied with creamy accents: raisins, fudge, dried lemon and oak, with smoky hints of butter and brown sugar. The finish is long and creamy.
