Blanton's Straight from the Barrel (70cl)

Blanton's Straight from the Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon, made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is a single barrel bourbon bottled directly from the barrel at barrel strength, in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is corn, rye and malted barley, and the spirit is aged in charred American white oak. Around 250 bottles come from each barrel, and each label is handwritten. The nose brings caramel, toasted oak and dark chocolate, with hints of ripe cherry, vanilla and spice. The palate is full-bodied, with dark fruit, molasses and honey, balanced by pepper, tobacco and smoky oak. The finish is long and warming.
