Blanton's The Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey (51.5%)

Blanton's The Original is a single barrel bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, first introduced in 1984. It is named after Albert Bacon Blanton, known as Colonel Blanton, who was dedicated to the distillery in its earlier days as the O.F.C. and George T. Stagg distillery. The barrels are chosen from Warehouse H, a building clad entirely in metal, which brings a large swing in temperature between day and night. The bourbon is bottled at 51.5% ABV (93 proof). It is known for sweet notes of vanilla, caramel and butterscotch, alongside clove and cinnamon spice.
