Blood Oath Pact 7 is a limited edition bourbon that blends 8 year old bourbon with 14 year old rye whiskey. It is finished in Sauternes casks from the Bordeaux region, which add fruit to the spiced character of the blend. It is filled in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is soft, with brioche, fresh-baked bread and ripe peach, and hints of honey and oak. On the palate, brioche and peach are balanced by green apple and a light acidity from the Sauternes casks, while the rye adds cinnamon and soft vanilla. The finish is dry, with tannic oak fading slowly and peach and pear notes lingering.
