Bomberger's Declaration Small Batch 2025 Release (54%)

Bomberger's Declaration is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's Distillery, in its 2025 release. It honours the historic Bomberger's distillery of Pennsylvania. The mash bill is corn, rye and malted barley, and the bourbon matured in new oak. It is bottled at 54% ABV and left unfiltered, with a copper colour that comes from the wood alone. The release is 2,583 bottles. The nose combines vanilla, creamy caramel, dark chocolate, oak spice and cinnamon. On the palate come roasted nuts, dark fruit and a hint of coffee. The finish is long, with molasses, leather and the gentle warmth of oak.
