Booker's 30th Anniversary is a Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, released in a 750ml bottle to mark thirty years since Booker Noe, grandson of Jim Beam, put out the first batch of Booker's in 1988.
It blends bourbon from barrels aged 16 years with bourbon from barrels aged 9 years, both unfiltered.
The nose is vanilla, caramel and toasted oak with a warm dark fruit note. The palate is sweet and spicy, with dark chocolate, dried fruit, vanilla and baking spice. The finish is long and warm, with a touch of smokiness fading into vanilla and oak.
