Booker's Batch 2016-05 'Off The Rocker' Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl)

Booker's Batch 2016-05 'Off The Rocker' is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel proof. It is the fifth and final named batch of 2016, the first year Booker's gave its batches names. The whisky comes from centre-cut rickhouse barrels aged between six and eight years, and was made at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. The nose is warm caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate is full and concentrated, with toffee, charred barrel, rye pepper and dark fruit, and the finish is long and warming with lasting barrel spice.
