Booker's Batch 2024-01 "Springfield Batch" Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 62.3%)

Booker's 2024-01, known as the Springfield Batch, is the first release of the 2024 Booker's Small Batch Bourbon Collection. It is named after Springfield, Kentucky, where Booker Noe was born and raised, and Fred Noe selected it as a tribute to his father's origins. The bourbon is uncut and unfiltered, bottled at 62.25% ABV (124.5 proof) after 7 years, 7 months and 8 days of ageing. It draws on five production dates across four warehouses, and comes in the classic Booker's wooden box with a purple batch ticket. The nose is led by cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla, with salted peanuts, buttered popcorn, tart apple and blackberry. The palate opens fruit-forward, with tart cherry.
