Booker's Bourbon Batch 2018-04 "Kitchen Table Batch" Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 64%)

Booker's Batch 2018-04, called Kitchen Table Batch, is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam Distillery, bottled at 64% (128 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is the fourth and final batch of the 2018 Booker's series, aged 6 years, 8 months and 7 days, and bottled uncut and unfiltered. Fred Noe named it for the kitchen table at the family home of his parents, Booker and Annis Noe, where they evaluated samples and made the key decisions about Booker's bourbon. It comes in the dark wood box with a glass panel. The nose is dark caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, baking spice and dried fruit. The palate is rich, with caramel, vanilla, charred oak and brown sugar. The finish is long, with oak spice, vanilla and a warm sweetness.
