Booker's Batch 2019-03, known as Pinewood Batch, is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam Distillery. It is the third release in the 2019 Booker's collection, selected by Fred Noe and bottled uncut and unfiltered at 62.45% ABV (124.9 proof).
The name honours the Pinewood cabin on the Beam family property, where Booker Noe would retreat with close friends and family to fish, relax and share whiskey. It comes in the classic dark wood Booker's box with a glass panel.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice, and the palate brings dark toffee, oak spice and dried fruit with a well-integrated warmth. The finish is long and warming.
