Booker's Batch 2021-03, named "Bardstown Batch", is the third release in the 2021 Booker's Small Batch Bourbon Collection. It is named in tribute to Bardstown, Kentucky, which calls itself the Bourbon Capital of the World.
This Kentucky straight bourbon is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 62.75% ABV (125.5 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The colour is a deep, warm amber with copper tones. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, baking spice and dried fruit. On the palate come dark toffee, vanilla, charred oak and baking spice, with a building warmth. The finish is long, with warm spice, vanilla and oak fading into sweetness.
