Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-04 'Noe Stranger's Batch' Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 62.3%)

Booker's Batch 2021-04, named Noe Stranger's Batch, is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont. It is the fourth and final batch of the 2021 Booker's collection, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 62.25% ABV (124.4 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The name plays on the phrase "no stranger" and on Booker Noe's surname. It is a tribute to his hospitality and his belief that nobody at his table was a stranger. The colour is natural, a deep amber with copper tones. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, baking spice and dried fruit. The palate brings dark toffee, vanilla, charred oak and building warmth, followed by a long, warm finish of vanilla, oak spice and lingering sweetness.
