Booker's Bourbon Batch 2023-03 "Mighty Fine Batch" Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 63.3%)

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2023-03, named Mighty Fine Batch, is the third release of the 2023 Booker's Small Batch Bourbon Collection, a Kentucky straight bourbon from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 63.3% (126.6 proof) after 7 years, 1 month and 10 days of ageing. The name honours Booker Noe's phrase of approval, "mighty fine". It also recalls the first batch Fred Noe selected, shortly before Booker died in 2004, when Booker told him, "Mighty fine job, son." The barrels came from seven production dates across six warehouses, with 55% from the fifth floor of warehouse 3. The nose has toasted oak, honey, vanilla, caramelised nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and a touch of tobacco.
