Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-04 Phantom Pipes Batch (75cl, 63.2%)

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-04, the Phantom Pipes Batch, is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. It is the fourth and final release of the 2025 Booker's collection, bottled at 63.2% (126.4 proof), uncut and unfiltered, after 7 years, 6 months and 15 days of ageing. The name comes from a maze of pipes in the rafters of Jim Beam's Boston distillery that connected to nothing, remnants of Booker Noe's tinkering. The barrels were drawn from several warehouses and floor levels. The nose has caramelised sugar, vanilla bean, toasted oak, baking spice, roasted peanut and a hint of dark berry. The palate brings dark toffee, brown sugar, cinnamon, peanut brittle and charred oak. The finish is long and warm, with oak spice, vanilla and caramel.
