An 18-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It celebrates the Aston Martin DB9 and was made as part of the distillery's ongoing partnership with the car manufacturer. It is a travel retail exclusive.
The whisky was aged in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose is rich dark chocolate, treacle toffee and date oil. On the palate there is bitter-sweet orange peel and peat-smoke roasted coffee, and the finish brings velvet mocha and macadamia nut chocolate.
