Bozal Guías de Calabaza Sacrificio Mezcal (75cl, 47%)

A mezcal from Río de Ejutla, Oaxaca, made from Espadín agave and presented as the first vegetarian Sacrificio from Bozal. Instead of meat, pumpkin stems, plantains, oranges, pineapple, pumpkin seeds and chepiche are suspended in the still during the second distillation. The agave is roasted in earthen pit ovens, crushed by a stone tahona and double-distilled in copper pot stills. The result carries vegetal, herbal and fruity character without meat-driven richness.
