Breckenridge Honey Whiskey is a honey-flavoured whiskey built on a bourbon base, bottled at 36% in a 75cl bottle. It is made at Breckenridge Distillery in Colorado, where the spirit is distilled at roughly 9,600 feet above sea level.
The aged bourbon is blended with natural honey, and the distillery's high-corn mashbill and Rocky Mountain snowmelt water shape the base.
The nose brings honeycomb, beeswax, vanilla bean and toasted oak. On the palate golden honey and brown sugar meet cornbread, baking spice and gentle oak. The finish is medium, with honey, clove and a peppery tingle.
