Bredag is an 8 year old Islay blended malt from the Scotch Universe series, bottled at 56.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled in October 2017 and matured in a first fill St. Estephe wine barrique, then bottled in June 2026. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings ripe blackberries and dark plums with cedar spice and a hint of vanilla. The palate shows roasted mocha and pronounced oak, lifted by a lively peppery bite. The finish is long and dry, with tobacco and a fine, spicy echo.
