Bruichladdich Old Skool is a 10 year old Islay single malt, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1881 by the Harley brothers and stood closed for a time. Its reopening was announced on 20 December 2000, and the first new make ran from the stills in May 2001. Its revival is closely tied to Jim McEwan. Since 2012 it has been owned by Remy Cointreau.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
