This is a 2003 Bruichladdich single malt from Islay, matured in a bourbon cask, number 1352. It is bottled at 58.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Bruichladdich was built in 1881 by the Harley brothers. After a period of closure, its return to work was announced on 20 December 2000, and the first new make ran from the stills in May 2001. The distillery's success is closely linked with Jim McEwan. It changed hands in 2012 for £58 million and is now owned by Remy Cointreau.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
