Bruichladdich 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, at 46% abv. It is known for its balance of peat and smoke with sweetness and malt.
The nose pairs smoke and peat with tropical fruit sweetness, fudge and sun-ripened oranges, along with hints of seaweed, ash, vanilla and sea air. The palate is bold, with peat, wood spices, smoke and toasted nuts, then oak, honey, salt and malt. Water softens the peat and brings more caramel forward. The finish is long and smoky, with peppery spice and fruity sweetness.
