This is the second edition of the Bruichladdich 12 Years Old, a single malt matured in a bourbon oak cask and bottled in 2009 at 46% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle with a metal tin.
Bruichladdich stands on the north shore of Loch Indaal on the island of Islay, Scotland, across the loch from Bowmore. Its stills are open in shape and not especially tall.
