This is a 15 year old unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, released in the distillery's Micro Provenance series, which looks at the influence of individual casks. It was distilled in 2008 and matured in a single third-fill Syrah wine cask. Just 300 bottles were produced. The Syrah cask is described as adding subtle red fruit and gentle spice, while the spirit keeps its coastal freshness and fruit-forward character.
