This is a 15 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 48.4% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in March 2007 and bottled in August 2022, after maturing in a refill hogshead. Only 216 bottles were filled. It has no added colour and is not chill-filtered. The nose opens with sweet Islay peat, summer fruits and fresh barley. The palate is oily, moving to citrus, nuts and sweet vanilla. The finish brings homemade Scottish jam, soft bonfire smoke and a malty character.
