Bourbon cask
A 17 year old Bruichladdich single malt, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2007 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a bourbon cask and is non-chill-filtered. Only 360 bottles were produced. The label carries a picture of Jim McEwan together with his signature. Vanilla and caramel from the charred bourbon cask stand out, followed by a sweetness that fills the tongue. Earthy and citrus notes join in, with dried fruits as the whisky opens, and the finish is long.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
