This is a 30-year-old Bruichladdich from the Islay distillery's Valinch series, in a 50cl bottle at 45.5%. It was released to mark the first distillation after the distillery reopened on 29th May 2001 under Mark Reynier and his team.
The whisky was distilled in December 1970 and bottled on the day of the reopening, drawn from a single bourbon cask, number 5081. The label is signed by Jim McEwan, the distillery manager.
