This is an 18 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2002. It was an occasional bottling, chosen and hand-crafted by master distiller Jim McEwan as a further expression of the distillery's character. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, and Islay spring water was used to bring it to drinking strength. The distillery's name means Shore Bank.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
