This is a 1990 Bruichladdich bottled by the independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. It is a single malt from Islay, bottled at 51.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Bruichladdich was built in 1881 by the Harley brothers and is the westernmost distillery in Scotland. It stood closed for a time before its restart was announced on 20 December 2000, and the first new make ran from the stills in May 2001. Jim McEwan is closely linked with its revival, and Remy Cointreau is the current owner.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
