This is a 1991 Bruichladdich single malt from Islay, released as the Sansibar Fazzino bottling at 41.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Bruichladdich was built in 1881 by the Harley brothers and is the westernmost distillery in Scotland. It was closed for a while, then reopened in 2001 after the restart was announced on 20 December 2000. Jim McEwan played a central part in its success. The distillery changed hands in 2012 and is now owned by Remy Cointreau.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
