This Bruichladdich from 1991 is a single malt from Islay, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is the westernmost in Scotland and was built by the Harley brothers in 1881. After a period of closure, its return to work was announced on 20 December 2000, and new make first flowed from the stills in May 2001. Its success is closely tied to Jim McEwan, and the distillery now belongs to Remy Cointreau.
