This is a 27 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in 1992 and bottled by Hunter Laing for the 2019 release of its Kinship Collection. It is bottled at cask strength, 50.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent more than a quarter of a century in a single refill American oak hogshead. The nose is sweet and salty, with soft fruits, heather honey, driftwood and oak. On the palate come heather honey, malted barley, sweet juicy fruit and salty seaweed.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
