Bruichladdich – 2002 Malts of Scotland 11 Years Old Chateau d'Yquem Hogshead (70cl, 58.2%)

This Bruichladdich was distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2013 by Malts of Scotland, as part of its Diamonds series. At 11 years old, it was matured in a Chateau d'Yquem hogshead and bottled at 58.2% in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 185 bottles. Bruichladdich stands on the north shore of Loch Indaal on Islay. Its stills are open and not especially tall, and it runs its own bottling facility, the only one on the island.
