Bruichladdich – 2004-2022 18 Years The Whisky Agency (70cl)

This is an 18 year old single cask Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled for The Whisky Agency as part of its Sequences series. The whisky was distilled in 2004 and matured in a bourbon cask until it was bottled in 2022. The outturn was 213 bottles. The nose is fine, with barley, wood, wax and cake. The palate is straightforward, with malt, wood, spice, honey, ginger and a touch of chocolate. The finish is long and warm, with bitter spice and barley.
