This is an unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, made from Chalice barley grown at Kentraw Farm, a mile from the distillery. It is an official bottling from the Islay Barley series. The spirit was filled in December 2004 into a single fresh sherry butt, cask 1667, and bottled in 2010 for the Laddie Festival, part of Feis Ile 2010. It came from the first Islay barley harvest used since the distillery reopened in 2001. The cask gave 1060 bottles, at 57.5% in a 50cl size.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
