Bruichladdich – 22 Year Old 2003 Little Brown Dog (53.6%)

This is a 22-year-old single cask Bruichladdich bottled by Little Brown Dog at 53.6% ABV. The whisky was distilled on 25 May 2003 and matured in a bourbon barrel until it was bottled on 21 October 2025. Only 140 bottles were filled. The label is a reproduction of an oil painting by the Danish artist Bjarne Helverskov Andersen. It recalls the dunes at Kintra on Islay, and the artist was the grandfather of the friend who sold the cask. This bottling was passed through a 20-micron filter rather than the finer standard filters, so a little very fine cask char may settle in the bottle.
