This is a 2008 vintage single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. It is unpeated. It is made from Bere barley, an ancient grain grown in Scotland for more than 6,000 years, sourced from a single farm, the Dunlossit Estate. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour. Tasting notes describe soft honey and creamy malt, with white pepper, citrus and light spices. The finish is long and clean, with a mineral note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
