Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2010 is an 8 year old Islay single malt, bottled in 2019 at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from Bere barley, one of the oldest grains in the world, which gives a flavour profile quite different from modern barley varieties. The whisky was matured in American oak casks. It is typically described as creamy and honeyed, with spicy barley and white pepper, soft vanilla from the oak, and a fresh, citrusy finish with a clean mineral edge.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
