Bruichladdich – Black Art 09.1 29 Year Old (1992) (70cl, 44.1%)

Black Art 09.1 is a 29-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in 1992 and bottled in June 2021 at 44.1% in a 70cl bottle. Only 12,000 bottles were filled. The Black Art series is defined by secrecy: the cask combination is not disclosed, and only master distiller Adam Hannett knows the recipe. The whisky is unpeated. The nose brings dried fruit, figs, dark chocolate, toasted oak and soft spices. The palate is full and oily, with caramel, raisins, cocoa, tobacco, sweet oak and subtle exotic notes. The finish is long and warming.
