Bruichladdich – Black Art 10.1 29 Year Old (2022) (45.1%)

Black Art 10.1 is a 29 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2022 at 45.1%. It is a limited edition in the Black Art series, whose cask combination is kept secret by the master distiller. It is unfiltered and of natural colour, and it is made without smoke. The nose has ripe figs, honey, dark chocolate, balsamic sweetness, old leather and oak. The palate shows dried fruit, milk and dark chocolate, soft spice, acacia honey and toffee, with a layered wood structure. The finish is long and warm.
