This is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, distilled in 2010 and bottled on 5 September 2017 at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made only from barley grown on eight Islay farms: Coull, Cruach, Dunlossit, Island, Mulindry, Rockside, Starchmill and Sunderland. It matured for six years in ex-bourbon and French wine barrels, and is uncoloured and non-chill filtered. The nose brings fresh citrus, green apple, vanilla, light spice and a hint of salty sea air. The palate is lively, with lime, honey, white fruit, spice and elegant oak. The finish is fresh and long, with mineral notes and natural maltiness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
