Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 is an unpeated Islay single malt from the Barley Provenance Series, made with barley grown entirely on Islay. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in 75% first fill American oak and 25% refill French oak.
The nose is light vanilla, soft citrus, honey and warm cereal. The palate is creamy, with fresh pear, malt, light oak and a floral touch. The finish is medium to long, with soft spices, marzipan and a fresh Islay character.
